The Rural Youth Leadership and Personality Development Programme would attempt to    develop leadership qualities, national character, comradeship and personality development among the rural youth. It will motivate the youth to act as focal point for dissemination of knowledge in the rural area and involve them in nation building process.

The YLPD training programme comprise of leadership and  life skill training and training on vocational  and capacity building, project management and  accounting

Nehru Yuvak Kendra- Ministry of Youth affairs and Sports

45 days youth leadership and personality development programme with the support of  Nehru Yuva Kendra The Nilgiris Ministry of Youth affairs and Sports, Govt. of India was conducted  in which 45 young girls attended  the programme. Beneficiaries were provided training in  Soft toy making, Beautician and Designer saree and blouse making with Aari  embroidery work  along with personality development classes, life skill education etc.
