Education For Adolscent Girls

The adolescent girls experience emotional challenges and issues of sexuality soon after onset of puberty and are not prepared to handle these challenges of their growing sexuality and reproductive capacity. They are often exposed to risk of early mother hood, unwise partnership, drug addiction and losing their rights to development as children and leading to waste of valuable human potential.

The atmosphere, attitude and negligence of parents at home are not providing any guidance instead psychological stress. Apart from personal care, they are unable to get adequate information on nutrition, physiology, reproductive, sexual health, ill effects of substance abuse etc. Teenagers need professional help to sort through personal issues that they are not comfortable discussing with parents and peers.
